"Berry Ryan"
Ryan was born July 23, 1947 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He began a career in insurance, while participating in local, amateur theater productions. After realizing how much he enjoyed acting, he left to pursue the stage in London. Eventually, he returned to work in Australia, and continued doing Australian films through the mid-80s. In 1977, he filmed his breakout picture, "The Love Letters From Teralba Road". 1980 brought "Breaker Morant", which brought widespread acclaim.
